We also offer High Conservation Value Assessor training relating to the Licensing Scheme managed by the High Conservation Value Resource Network. Additionally, ASTRA provides consultancy and training on accreditation aspects, witnessing in relation to auditing work, standards development and technical support on several certification systems, such as FSC, RSB, HCVRN, the and the Green List of Protected Areas (IUCN).

ASTRA is offering to trainees a user-friendly e-learning platform, combined with face-to-face courses offered around the world to deliver training to auditors, certification body staff, internal auditors, consultants and industry representatives who wish to improve their knowledge and skills relating to FSC and RSB standards and their practical application.

Additionally, we also provide an ISO 19011 course (online or as a "blended" course). This course responds to the requirements of the various certification schemes, relating to auditing techniques and ISO qualification of their auditors.

Forest Stewardship Council

FSC

ASTRAcademy is an approved Training Provider in the FSC certification system. The courses offered have obtained the formal recognition from Accreditation Services International (ASI) as being in compliance with current FSC requirements for auditor training. The training programme consists of five main courses, listed above.

Our Auditor courses for trainee FSC Auditors (Forest Management and Chain of Custody Auditor courses) do not cover ISO training requirements. Trainee auditors who are not qualified on ISO standards (as outlined in FSC-STD-20-001 V4) can register, in addition to the FM and/or COC courses on our ISO 19011 course, which will help them fulfill FSC auditor training requirements.

HCV Resource Network

HCV Resource Network

ASTRAcademy is a registered Training Organization under the Assessor Licensing Scheme managed by the High Conservation Value Resource Network. Successful completion of a recognized HCV Assessor Training Course will be a mandatory requirement for aspirant HCV Assessors.
